The Marine Reserve is committed to protecting and conserving the natural environment and its species through continuous ecological surveys and research projects in collaboration with the Blue Marine Foundation and the St. Abbs Marine Station. The work we carry out alongside our partners helps to provide a baseline of the marine ecosystem, its habitats, inhabitants and how factors overtime may influence them. The information we produce will help make better informed decisions regarding marine user pressures, planning and fisheries sustainability management.
