Huge Cross Border Coastal Clean Up – From Cove to Goswick

We invite YOU to join us for a HUGE Coastal Clean Up!

From Cove to Goswick

If you LOVE our coastline, we need YOUR help to clean it up - come litterpicking with the walkers, plogging with the runners, or diving against debris with the divers.
Together, let's keep our sea plastic free.

We have lots of fantastic organisations on both sides of the Border joining us on the day - if you would like to join us please get in touch

Walk, Beach Clean & Marine litter survey – volunteers needed

Join the Berwickshire Marine Reserve rangers on a short walk along the coastal path from Coldingham to Linkim Shore a more remote beach. We will clean a 100m stretch of beach surveying the marine litter we find along the way. In association with the Marine Conservation Society.

The data volunteers have collected over the last 26 years has helped make some of the most significant impacts on beach litter ever - the plastic bag charge, microplastics banned in personal care products, better wet wipe labelling, and massive support for a tax on 'on the go' plastic single use items.

But it's not job done. We need to gather more and more data to wage war on other types of beach litter, and you can help.

No experience necessary. If you have your own litter pickers and gloves please bring them along. Wear suitable footwear.
