The Berwickshire coast is a maze of tidal rock pools at low tide. The pools act as a microcosm of a much larger marine world and are a great example of thriving biological communities where numerous marine organisms compete over space and resources to survive the harsh conditions. The Berwickshire Marine Reserve hosts numerous Sea Safaris during the summer, to allow curious marine enthusiasts the opportunity to explore, learn more about, and get up close to these hardy marine creatures that call our rock pools their home.
