The tradition of the Eyemouth Herring Queen dates back to 1945. The festival is a highlight of the local year, and a wide range of activities take place on and off the water. As part of the Herring Queen festivities the Berwickshire Marine Reserve hosts a week long marine themed event. Visitors can engage with the marine environment, take virtual dives, and discover different marine animals through our aquarium and touch tanks.
