Description: Beadlet Anemones are almost completely red, and occasionally green. They get their name from a ring of blue ‘beads’ running along the base of their tentacles.

Description: The Dahlia Anemone is one of our most colourful and also the largest anemone found within the Reserve. Smaller individuals can be found on the lower parts of the rocky shore, sometimes enclosed and hidden beneath a blanket of small shell particles and other debris stuck to its body. Larger animals are found the deeper you go, with the largest growing up to 15cm! Did you know? Their colour patterns range from a plain pink, white, red, grey, blue or brown, to a banded combination of all colours!
